How to read odds
Understanding odds is the most important thing for success in betting. Odds are essentially a numerical expression of probability, and they also indicate how much you will get back if you win.
Decimal odds (simplest)
The most commonly used format on 5tk10. Multiply the odds number by your stake to get the total return.
Example: Place a ৳500 bet at odds of 1.80.
Total return = ৳500 × 1.80 = ৳900
Net profit = ৳900 − ৳500 = ৳400
Fractional odds
The British format — 4/5 means ৳4 profit for every ৳5 staked. On a ৳500 bet, profit is ৳400 and total return is ৳900.
American odds
Expressed with a +/− sign. −110 means you must bet ৳110 to win ৳100 profit. +150 means a ৳100 bet returns ৳150 profit.
What is implied probability?
Odds tell you what probability the bookmaker assigns to a given outcome. The implied probability of 1.80 odds = 100 ÷ 1.80 ≈ 55.6%. If you think the actual probability is higher, that bet may offer value.
RTP and house edge explained
RTP, or Return to Player, is the percentage of total wagers that players can expect to get back on average over the long term. For example, if a slot game has an RTP of 96%, that means for every ৳100 wagered, the expected average return is ৳96 — the remaining ৳4 is the house edge.
The house edge is the casino's mathematical advantage. It is not manipulation — it is a part of the mathematical structure of the game that exists in every legitimate online casino. Over the long term the casino benefits from this advantage, but in the short term any player can win big.
| Game type | Approximate RTP range | House edge |
|---|---|---|
| Slot Games | 92% – 98% | 2% – 8% |
| Blackjack | ~99% | ~0.5% |
| Roulette (European) | ~97.3% | ~2.7% |
| Baccarat | ~98.9% | ~1.1% |
RTP information helps players make informed decisions. Games with a higher RTP have a comparatively lower chance of loss over the long term. Keep in mind, though, that RTP is a long-term average — the outcome of any single gaming session can go either way.
Account verification process
The account verification or KYC (Know Your Customer) process is carried out for your own security. It ensures that only the genuine account owner is operating the account and helps prevent fraudulent activity.
